Lead management for independent insurance agencies.
Lead Commander is the software agencies use to buy direct-mail insurance leads, distribute them down their own hierarchy, and put them in front of the agent who is going to knock on the door — in the order that makes geographic sense.
It is built and operated by Agency Development Services, a brand of The Meliora Group LLC.
What it does
- Custody and distribution. Leads move down an agency's hierarchy, and the platform keeps a record of who holds each one and when it came back into the pool.
- Route order. Agents work a day's leads in driving order rather than the order they arrived, with mileage and doors logged as they go.
- The book after the sale. Birthdays, holidays and product-election windows surface on the agent's dashboard, so the people already sold get contacted again.
- Email from the agent's own address. Described below, because it is the part that involves your Google account.
Connecting a mailbox
An agent may connect their own Gmail or Google Workspace mailbox so that messages to their clients go out from their real address, land in their real Sent folder, and are not sent by us on their behalf from some shared address the client has never seen.
Lead Commander asks for permission to send, and nothing else.
The only Gmail scope requested is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send.
That permission cannot read a mailbox. Lead Commander does not request, receive, or have any means of accessing the contents of a connected inbox — not messages, not contacts, not labels, not attachments. There is no inbox sync in this product.
Replies are handled without inbox access. Every message sent through Lead Commander
carries a Reply-To address on leadcmdr.com. When a client
replies, that reply arrives at our domain, is filed against the right lead, and is forwarded
on to the agent's own inbox. We see the reply because the client sent it to us — not because
we read anyone's mail.
Full detail of what is stored, for how long, and how to revoke access is in the Privacy Policy.
Who it is for
Independent insurance agencies and the agents contracted under them, working final expense, Medicare, ACA and mortgage protection in the United States. Lead Commander is sold to agencies, not to consumers, and there is no public sign-up.
